Andy Maloney has been drafted back into the Waterford side ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Clare at Croke Park.
Paul Flynn moves to top of the left to make way for the former Tipperary man at centre-forward.
In all just five players start in the same positions from the side that beat Tipp last time out in the Munster final.
James Murray drops out and Brian Greene goes to right corner back. Elsewhere the full-back line stays the same though Eoin Murphy switches wings in the half-backs with Tony Browne dropping from midfield to right-wing back.
Maloney's inclusion at centre-forward has meant a shake up in the forwards.
Brothers Eoin and Ken McGrath start on either wing. John Mullane, Seamus Prendergast and Flynn make up the full-forwards.
Lismore's Dave Bennett continues on the bench.
