Sean Paul hopes Pixie Lott will join him on stage at Titanic Sounds in Belfast tonight .

The Jamaican singer is performing at the MTV event in Northern Island, and thinks Pixie - who is also on the bill - would be an ideal replacement to sing the part recorded by Alexis Jordan on his single 'Got 2 Luv U'.

He told BANG Showbiz: "Pixie Lott is somebody I've been following. I usually just let the crowd sing that out, but it wouldn't hurt if Pixie Lott came out on stage for it. She's very cute.

"I've never met her but I've been following her on twitter for a little while now. I was only introduced to other music recently, so it's going to be interesting to actually meet her."

Paul has been travelling across Europe promoting his new album 'Tomahawk Technique', and believes he challenged himself with this album more than he has previously.

He added: "Over the last 16 years I've been proving all over the world that you can be a success with dancehall music, but I don't want people to put me in a box, so it has to be an evolution and I incorporate new sounds, like dance music. On this album I challenged myself a lot more."

The Titanic Sounds concert, features Sean, Pixie, Olly Murs, Rizzle Kicks and Katy B performing at the new Titanic Belfast tourist attraction. It has been staged in collaboration with Belfast City Council and Northern Ireland Tourist Board, and will be shown as 'MTV Presents Titanic Sounds' on MTV music in the UK on May 5.
