More than 90 people have died of thirst in the Sahara Desert.

More than 90 people have died of thirst in the Sahara Desert.

Libyan officials said the group, thought to be from West Africa, were in a lorry which broke down in the south of the country.

The 93 victims crossed the border from Niger around 10 days ago to look for work, authorities said. The Sudanese driver and 26 other passengers survived.
