Gardaí investigating an armed raid at a credit union in North Dublin have made a second arrest.
Two men, armed with a gun, held up the branch in Portmarnock on Friday evening, before escaping with a quantity of cash.
A bicycle garda who gave chase, in a car borrowed from a member of the public, was fired on by the pair as they fled in a hijacked a car.
One man was arrested shortly afterwards. He is in his 20s and is being detained at Coolock Garda Station.
This morning, investigating officers arrested a second man - aged 19 - and he is also being detained at Coolock garda station.
