There has been speculation this afternoon that three-time All-Ireland winner Enda McGinley is set to retire from the Tyrone senior football panel.

BBC Radio Ulster have reported that the 29-year-old will call time on his inter-county career in the coming days due to injury concerns and club commitments.

It is a major blow for Mickey Harte's charges, who got back to winning ways last weekend in the Allianz National Football League Division 1 following a much-needed victory over Cork at Healy Park, Omagh.

The Red Hands had slumped to three successive defeats in their opening three games.

McGinley, who works as a physiotherapist has been a part of all of Tyrone's three All-Ireland Senior football final wins, and has also annexed two U-21 and one All-Ireland Minor titles.

The Errigal Ciaran clubman has also represented Ireland in the International Rules Series, and won an All-Star in 2008.

Tyrone County Board have yet to confirm reports of McGinley's retirement.
