The Government has come under attack in the Dáil over plans to delay the rollout of the cervical cancer vaccine which would be given to 12-year-old girls.

Fine Gael's Enda Kenny said the €10m in savings the Government would make in stalling the introduction of the vaccine scheme, could be found elsewhere.

The Taoiseach hit back and said it is logical to roll out the national screening programme first.
