Kerry and Limerick renew rivalries today in the Bank of Ireland Munster football final at the Gaelic Grounds in a repeat of last year's decider, with the Shannonsiders bidding to avenge their defeat.
Kerry won well last year, and Limerick manager (and Kerry native) Liam Kearns feels his side must win today to have made any headway on last season.
Limerick have had a good campaign this year - not only did they achieve their aim of retaining their Division One status - they made it to the League semi-finals (losing out to Kerry).
There are two other factors in their favour. Limerick enjoy home advantage today and the Kingdom announced their team and did not include talisman Seamus Moynihan, who is still recovering from injury.
Kerry boss Jack O'Connor has decided not to start him, as the Glenflesk man has not fully recovered from an ankle injury he sustained during the semi-final win over Cork. Marc O Se has instead been given the nod, but Moynihan is expected to play some part in today's match.
O Se is one of three changes from the semi-final line-up. O'Connor welcomes back Dara O Cinneide at full-forward and Paul Galvin comes at half-forward instead of Declan O'Sullivan, who has a broken collarbone. Eoin Brosnan will start at centre-forward with Galvin to his left.
Limerick manager Liam Kearns welcomes Jason Stokes back to the Limerick team at left half-forward, after he sat out most of the season with a leg injury.
The Drom-Broadford man, who normally partners John Quane at midfield, will hope to add impetus to Limerick's attack. Johnny Murphy is the player making way.
Michael and Damien have been dropped to the substitutes' bench, to be replaced by Steven Lavin at half-back and Stephen Kelly at right half-forward.
Former hurler Mike O'Brien, who played at half-forward against Waterford, moves to left corner-forward.
Goalkeeper Seamus O'Donnell, who was taken off injured during the semi-final win, has been passed fit.
