ISEQ closes week in positive territory

The ISEQ index closed the week on a positive note today, climbing 26.12 to end the week at 6,108.04.

Financial stocks climbed again today.

Allied Irish Bank shares rose 31c to €15.10 while Bank of Ireland shares were up 6c to €11.75.

Shares in Anglo Irish Bank crept up 5c to €17.45 while Irish Life & Permanent rose considerably, up 17c to €13.55.

Hotel group Jury's Doyle rose 20c to €11.80.

Ryanair shares were up 7c to €5.62 today. Ryanair announced 10% passenger growth in November yesterday.

Kerry group was a big winner today, climbing 35c to end the week's trading at €18.

The most traded shares today were AIB, Bank of Ireland, Anglo Irish Bank, CRH and IAWS.
