Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has a concern over England defender Jonathan Woodgate ahead of the St Stephen's day trip to Birmingham.
The 27-year-old has had to be substituted in three of the last four games because of cramp, and the club’s medics are currently trying to get to the bottom of the problem.
Fabio Rochemback is available after serving a one-match ban at the weekend, but Gary O’Neil (hamstring) is struggling once again while Andrew Taylor (foot), Chris Riggott (calf) and Mido (groin) are still out.
Provisional squad: Schwarzer, Turnbull, Young, Woodgate, Wheater, Pogatetz, Huth, Cattermole, O’Neil, Boateng, Arca, Rochemback, Johnson, Shawky, Aliadiere, Downing, Tuncay, Lee, Hutchinson.
