Northern Ireland's Federation of Small Businesses has today described the decision to invest in Bombardier as "fantastic" news for the East Belfast economy.
Harry McGimpsey, FSB Branch Chairman for Belfast said: “For some time we have been concerned about the major economic downturn, not just in places like East Belfast, but across the whole of the city.
“Today’s announcement is welcomed by local small business owners, because it will increase opportunity for tenders for supply contracts from Bombardier and such an increase in jobs will also boost spending patterns which will benefit local retailers.”
