USPGA champion Phil Mickelson was a distant second after rounds of 70 and 68 while US Open hero Michael Campbell was another five shots adrift in third after a 70 today.

Fiji’s Vijay Singh, who got an invite based on his finishes in the four Major tournaments, improved on his opening 75 with a 69 but still trailed in last, one shot behind Campbell.
