Birmingham new boy Jean Beausejour could make his Barclays Premier League debut against West Brom on Saturday after finally being granted a visa.

The Chile international winger was a transfer deadline day signing from Mexican side Club America but has been back in his home country over the past week to resolve the issue.

The 26-year-old arrived at Birmingham’s Wast Hills training ground this afternoon and is eligible for the weekend’s short trip to The Hawthorns.

Beausejour, who impressed at the World Cup in South Africa this summer, joined Alexander Hleb and Martin Jiranek in signing for Blues at the end of last month.
