The 'Stay' hitmaker once again proved her partying credentials when she hit the Greenhouse club in New York City on Tuesday with some of the biggest names in American sport.

A fellow party guest told the New York Post newspaper that Rihanna "took over a VIP area with the night's host, DJ Khaled, and their crews".

The 25-year-old singer was joined by the likes of Victor Cruz, who is in negotiations with the New York Giants, and NFL free agent Bryant McKinnie at the event to mark the start of transfers in the National Football League.

The New York Knicks basketball players J. R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and Kenyon Martin were also living it up in the club, as were hip-hop stars Busta Rhymes and Wale.

Thankfully, Rihanna was more frugal with her cash this time, after she splashed out $8,000 on strippers in Miami's King of Diamonds strip joint last Saturday.

The Bajan beauty watched the girls undress in time to her own songs, paying special attention to the club's most popular exotic dancer, Remy Redd.

Despite her doctors warning her to cut down on her partying, the singer is struggling to give her up her late-night outings.

Rihanna has been forced to cancel three shows on her Diamonds World Tour so far due to an undisclosed illness, thought to be laryngitis.
