Several Afghan civilians were injured last night when a small village north of Kabul was hit by a US missile.

Deh Sabz is not close to any military installations or training camps but it was targeted during last night’s air strikes.

The United States has repeatedly claimed that its attacks on Afghanistan are not aimed at civilians but civilian casualties have been reported after each night of attacks.

The Taliban said "tens of people" were killed during the first two nights of air strikes but so far, only four civilian deaths have been killed.

Those four were Afghans working for a UN mine-clearing agency whose offices in Kabul were hit by a missile on Monday night.
