An electrical storm has forced the end of today's play at the Malaysian Open.
The third round scheduled to restart at 8am local time tomorrow. The fourth round is due to start almost immediately after the completion of the third, but another afternoon thunderstorm could make it impossible to finish all 72 holes on time.
India's Arjun Atwal extended his lead with a birdie from 10 feet on the sixth, but Goosen hit back with one of his own on the eighth.
Atwal had just completed the eighth before the siren went, leaving him on 17 under par and four clear of Goosen and Srirot, although the Thai looked certain to drop back after hitting his drive on the ninth into deep trouble just before play was halted.
Padraig Harrington was six off the pace on 11 under after eight holes, the having just played his second shot on the ninth.
Scotland’s Dean Robertson was also 11 under after making the biggest move of the day, the 32-year-old picking up five birdies in 11 holes.
