A post-mortem is to be carried out today on the body of a woman who died in a house fire in Co Down yesterday.

A post-mortem is to be carried out today on the body of a woman who died in a house fire in Co Down yesterday.

The 35-year-old lost her life in a blaze in Newtownards at around 5.30pm.

Police say they are treating the fire as suspicious until a forensic examination is completed.

They are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
