Gardaí arrest three in two separate drug seizures

Two men are still being questioned over the discovery of up to €1m worth of cannabis in Co. Meath.

Gardaí found the 150 kilogrammes of cannabis herb, pollen and resin in a planned search of a business premises in Slane yesterday afternoon.

Two men, aged 42 and 44, were arrested and were taken to Kells Garda Station for questioning.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man in his 20's has been arrested following the seizure of around €35,000 worth of ecstacy in Cork.

Gardaí found more than 5,000 tablets when they stopped and searched a car in Ballincollig at around 10pm last night.

He is being held at Gurranabraher Garda Station.
