Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger praised Thierry Henry who struck his 100th Premiership goal in the 4-0 win at Birmingham.
Henry struck once in each half to join teammate Dennis Bergkamp at the milestone as Arsenal ran riot.
And Wenger said: "I didn't think he would score so many goals but I thought he had the qualities to play centre-forward.
"It is fantastic what he has achieved and fantastic that the pair (Henry and Bergkamp) have reached 100 goals within a week of each other."
Wenger believed his side's quality shone through in the victory, their biggest on the road since August 2001.
He added on Sky Sports: "It was a difficult game but it was down to scoring first. We had a difficult period in the second half when it was 2-0 but when we scored the third it was all over.
"Confidence was the key. When you are fighting to avoid going down it is always much more difficult."
