Champions Galway make one change
Reigning champions Galway have made one change to their line-up for Sunday's TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Senior Football final against Cork at Croke Park.
The only switch from the 2-10 to 0-07 semi-final win over Dublin sees the experienced Ann-Marie McDonagh come in for St Michael's teenager Claire Molloy at left corner back.
Seventeen-year-old dual star Niamh Fahy, a sister of Galway seniors Richie and Gary Fahy, is flying home from duty with the Ireland Under-19 soccer team in Estonia tonight to start Sunday's decider.
Fahy, who already boasts an All-Ireland minor medal from this year, scored a brace of goals in the senior defeat of the Dubs three weeks ago.
Galway manager Richard Bowles, who took over from PJ Fahy this season, will afford Clifden's All-star-winning midfielder Lisa Cohill a late fitness test. The former athletics international has been working her way back after cruciate surgery, but may have to make do with a place on the replacements bench.
The Tribeswomen, who only lifted the Brendan Martin Cup for the first time last October, will be hoping to gain revenge on a Cork side who thumped them 2-13 to 0-06 in the 2005 National League final.
