Sex habits revealed from fruit fly study

It seems that women enjoy more nookie or afternoon delight during cold winter weather.

A new study has found that women tend to have more partners in colder climates and are more prone to monogamy when it's hotter.

The University of Exeter has made the conclusions based on a study of fruit flies, which they claim have a similar genetic make-up to humans.

The study was published in a journal called Behavioural Ecology.

It found that some females always had multiple sexual partners despite their living conditions, which they put down to genetics.
