There is more bad news on the jobs front.

Up to 75 jobs are to go at Zed Candy in Kilcock, Co Kildare.

The company is relocating its operations to China by the middle of next year.

Management broke the news to employees this lunchtime, citing the high cost of manufacturing in Ireland compared with China.
