A $5m reward has been offered for information about the World Trade Center and Pentagon terror strikes.

The bounty, offered by the US State department’s Diplomatic Security Service, was offered on the service’s website, www.dssrewards.net.

Under the banner ‘Mass Murder’ the wanted poster offers a reward of up to $5m, witness protection and relocation for anyone who has information about the terrorist attacks.

A reward of a similar amount was already on offer for information leading to the capture of the US Government’s prime suspect Osama bin Laden, who President Bush said was "wanted dead or alive".
