Gardaí investigate discovery of woman’s body in Rosslare

Gardaí in Wexford are investigating the death of a woman in her 40s whose body was discovered at her home in Rosslare Strand this morning.

Gardaí in Wexford are investigating the death of a woman in her 40s whose body was discovered at her home in Rosslare Strand this morning.

The woman's body, which was found by a friend at 8.30am, is being moved to the Dublin City Morgue.

The State pathologist Dr Margaret Cassidy will carry out a post mortem later this evening.

The scene where the body was found is being preserved for technical examination.
