Hospitality jobs fair taking place in Dublin

The Department of Social Protection is holding a jobs fair in Dublin city centre today in collaboration with the Irish Hotel Federation and the Restaurant Association of Ireland.

The Department of Social Protection is holding a jobs fair in Dublin city centre today in collaboration with the Irish Hotel Federation and the Restaurant Association of Ireland.

The aim of the event, taking place at the Aisling Hotel on Parkgate St, is to match jobseekers interested in a career in hospitality with employers in the hotel and restaurant sector.

Hundreds of positions in the hospitality industry are on offer and jobseekers are being urged to be "interview ready" for the event as many hotels and restaurants will be recruiting on the spot.

Up to 400 people are expected to attend the event, which runs from 10am to 4.30pm.
