Housemates could recognise Thaila from TV music shows

Big Brother must be hoping the housemates are not up on their children’s television or short-lived pop acts because otherwise they will rumble the show’s “Australian” impostor instantly.

British/Italian actress Thaila Zucchi is not new to our screens – she once starred in an ITV series based on her band The Allstars.

More than 20 episodes of the show StarStreet starring Zucchi and her bandmates were broadcast and the band even went on tour around the UK.

They had four top 20 hits during their two year career and performed on Top Of The Pops, CD:UK, and SM:TV numerous times before fading into oblivion.

The 26-year-old’s CV is a litany of television appearances, presenting jobs and theatre roles she has performed over the years for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

They include gigs presenting on Nickelodeon, Popworld and The Record of the Year.

The actress/singer from Wiltshire now has to pretend she was evicted from the Australian version of Big Brother and brought immediately from there into the British house.

And according to her CV, she has a good ear for all accents so should be able to put on an Aussie twang to help her bid to fool the housemates.

Housemates must guess she is a plant to avoid being on basic food rations for a week – meanwhile, she will be acting on Big Brother’s orders to create as much tension as possible.

Her presence already seems to be doing just that because the men have been drooling over their new, attractive housemate since her arrival was first revealed on Friday.

If nothing else, that is sure to put the noses of several more established wannabe femme fatales
