Record scorer David Healy limped out of training today to give Northern Ireland a scare ahead of their Euro 2008 qualifier on Wednesday against Iceland.
The Fulham striker took a kick on his calf and came off as a precautionary measure, according to the Irish Football Association.
Healy has been an inspirational figure in the campaign, scoring 11 goals, and his fitness will be monitored in the next 48 hours.
He is not the only concern for manager Nigel Worthington as he looks for his team to bounce back following the 1-0 defeat away to Latvia.
Sheffield United winger Keith Gillespie and Jonny Evans are also facing a race to be fit to face Iceland, who drew 1-1 with Spain at the weekend.
Both players sat out training, Gillespie with a bruised knee and Evans with a bruised ankle.
