Thousands of households in north east Dublin will be affected by water shortages this weekend.

Water shortages to hit thousands of Dublin households this weekend

Thousands of households in north east Dublin will be affected by water shortages this weekend.

Dublin City Council is to carry out essential works on the water supply on Saturday, between 6am and midnight on Sunday night.

The work will result in a reduction in service with reduced pressures and loss of supply in some areas.

Dublin City Council will provide a number of mobile tankers in the area.

Affected areas:

Clare Hall from Clonshaugh Road to Malahide Road; Darndale; Clonshaugh; Donaghmede; Artane; Coolock; Kilmore; Kilbarrack; Riverside Estate; Barrycourt Road; Adare Estate; Millbrook Lorcan; IDA Clonshaugh; Belmayne; Santry; Clongriffin; And all surrounding areas
