Westlife top the charts again

Irish boyband Westlife have topped the British charts for the eighth time.

Irish boyband Westlife have topped the British charts for the eighth time.

Their new fundraising single for Comic Relief, a cover version of Billy Joel's Uptown Girl, sold nearly 300,000 copies in Britain in its first week on release.

The figure makes it the biggest ever first week sale for a Westlife single.
