Gardaí investigate landfill fire in Kildare

A garda investigation is underway this morning into the cause of a fire at a landfill site in Co Kildare last night.

Fire services were alerted to the fire at the dump in Kerdiffstown, between Naas and Johnstown, at around 6pm yesterday.

Several units of the fire brigade attended the scene.

There were no reports of any injuries.
