Posh Spice: I phone David 10 times a day

The Sun claims despite preparing for one of the biggest matches of his career, David Beckham still finds time to speak to Posh 10 times a day.

The paper says Victoria Beckham started calling the England captain to check his spirits after he broke his left foot.

She is also reported to have told the paper her husband would not pull off a repeat of France 98, when he was sent off for kicking an Argentine midfielder.

She said he had grown up since the match and learned from it, adding the captaincy had helped.

Victoria told The Sun: "I speak to him loads and loads - about 10 times a day."

"I tell him how much I miss him and to find out how he is. I want to check his spirits are high," she went on.

"They were so low when he broke the bone in his foot, as that prevented him doing what he loves doing best," she added.

She said she would root for England during Friday's match with Argentina.

"He tells me there is a lot of confidence in the English team despite the 1-1 draw with Sweden," she said.

It has also emerged that the former Spice Girl has parted company with her record company Virgin. According to the Sun, Mrs Beckham denied she had been dumped and claimed her deal with Virgin had "come to a natural end".
