O'Mahony out for U-20s

Coach Allen Clarke will have to plan without captain Peter O'Mahony, following a citing, when the Ireland U20s play New Zealand in their second Junior World Championship pool game in Nagoya on Tuesday evening (kick off: 11am Irish time).

Coach Allen Clarke will have to plan without captain Peter O'Mahony, following a citing, when the Ireland U-20s play New Zealand in their second Junior World Championship pool game in Nagoya on Tuesday evening (kick off: 11am Irish time).

Rhys Ruddock will start in the no. 8 spot in place of O’Mahony who is unavailable after being suspended for one match following a citing during the opening game against Argentina. Ruddock's older brother Ciaran will lead the side in O'Mahony's absence.

Leinster centre Eamon Sheridan steps up from the bench for Johnny Shiels. Ulster tight-head Adam Macklin comes into the side, with Jack McGrath switching to loose-head and Paddy McAllister dropping to the bench.
