A man in his 50s has been arrested after a drug seizure in Co Kildare.

A man in his 50s has been arrested after a drug seizure in Co Kildare.

Gardaí found a large quantity of cannabis plants while searching a premises in the Kilcullen area in the early hours of this morning.

The haul has an estimated street value of €800,000.

One man has been arrested and is being held at Newbridge garda station, under section two of the Drug Trafficking Act.
