More than 100 tractors are now on the road as part of farmer protests over pay.

More than 100 tractors are now on the road as part of farmer protests over pay.

Protestors say they want the Minister for Agriculture Joe Walsh to wake up to how serious their plight is and the effect it could have on the farming in the long run.

The tractors left Bantry, Tralee, Castlebar and Ballina at about 10am this morning.
