Clare have brought Barry Nugent into their side, in a straight swap for the injured Andrew Quinn, for Sunday's Munster SHC semi-final against Cork (Semple Stadium, throw-in 4pm).
The Banner selection shows just one change to the team that lost last year's All-Ireland SHC semi-final to Cork. Back then, Nugent was forced to withdraw with a leg injury, which promoted Quinn to the forward ranks.
Now, however, Tulla clubman Quinn is the player sidelined. He is recovering from knee surgery and Éire Óg marksman Nugent slots in at right corner-forward. Twenty-three-year-old Nugent made his championship debut against Tipperary in last year's Munster semi-final.
Clare boss Anthony Daly put his panel through their paces in a training session at Cusack Park last night. Both David Hoey and Tony Carmody, who were injury doubts, are fighting fit again.
However, promising forward Fergal Lynch has failed to force his way into the reckoning due to a finger injury. He was hospitalised last weekend after picking up an infection, but is included among the substitutes.
