Irish actor Colin Farrell has been granted a temporary restraining order against a Playboy model touting a sex tape he claims was not made for public viewing.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Yaffe blocked Nicole Narain from selling, distributing or displaying the 15-minute tape that shows her and Farrell having sex.
Farrell, 29, sued Narain claiming she did not have the authority to exploit the tape commercially.
The lawsuit also accuses the 31-year-old woman of working with the owner of an internet pornography business and contacting the media about the tape.
The Alexander star said it was in breach of oral contract, since he and his former girlfriend made a pact to keep the tape purely for their own enjoyment.
The lawsuit also said the release of the tape would irreparably harm Farrell’s reputation and career.
The next court hearing was scheduled for August 10.
