US soldiers question Taliban prisoners

US soldiers are questioning Taliban defectors and prisoners in an effort to force them to reveal where their leader, Mullah Mohammed Omar, and Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden are hiding.

US soldiers are questioning Taliban defectors and prisoners in an effort to force them to reveal where their leader, Mullah Mohammed Omar, and Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden are hiding.

US spies believe the two men are still in Afghanistan, but with the Taliban fleeing for the mountains, the number of possible locations is diminishing.

The pair are understood to be on the move and are not travelling together.
