Lily and Ben were the most popular names for babies born in Ireland this year.
James, Patrick and Thomas came in second, third and fourth most popular for boys while fifth place was shared by Andrew, Peter and Hugo.
Lucy was the second most popular girls name followed by Grace and Sarah with Anna and Alice in fifth place.
Some parents chose more unusual names such as Art, Hunter, Espen and Troy for boys and Orianna, Sunniva and Remmy for girls.
When it comes to Irish names, Cara, Ailbhe and Maeve were popular for girls while Finn, Fionn and Liam were popular for boys.
The results were compiled from more than 650 births announced in national newspapers this year.
