Reckless Abandon wins at Newmarket

Reckless Abandon maintained his unbeaten record with a gutsy display in the Vision.ae Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket.

Clive Cox’s juvenile, already a Group One winner in France, was ridden by Gerald Mosse as Adan Kirby chose to partner Moohaajim for Marco Botti.

The 9-4 joint-favourites fought out the finish, but as they met the rising ground Reckless Abandon kept on pulling out more to see off Moohaajim by a neck.

Aidan O’Brien’s Gale Force Ten was another neck away in third.
