30 families evacuated amid huge fire in north Co Dublin

Around 30 families have been evacuated from their homes in north Co Dublin while fire-fighters battle a huge blaze at a hardware store in the town.

Around 30 families have been evacuated from their homes in north Co Dublin while fire-fighters battle a huge blaze at a hardware store in the town.

Eight units of the fire brigade are at Kingston's on Strand Street, where the fire started at around 3am.

Their efforts are being hampered by gas cylinders at the site which have reportedly exploded.

There are no reports of any injuries.
