Spencer to return at Lingfield on Wednesday

Jamie Spencer, whom it was confirmed yesterday has quit as stable jockey to Aidan O’Brien, will be back in action at Lingfield on Wednesday.

Jamie Spencer, whom it was confirmed yesterday has quit as stable jockey to Aidan O’Brien, will be back in action at Lingfield on Wednesday.

Spencer will renew an old acquaintance with David Loder at the Surrey track, partnering two runners for the Newmarket handler.

Spencer resigned after just one year at Ballydoyle and Johnny Murtagh is the odds-on favourite to take over one of the highest-profile jobs in racing.
