Donegal football star Brian Roper is likely to miss this weekend's friendly clash with Mayo after his dog jumped up and scratched his eye.

Roper's dog, Bruno, packed a mean right hook when he leapt up and caught the half-forward below the eye with a real sucker punch.

Roper missed out on his club side's SFC match last weekend and underwent tests in Sligo general hospital on Monday.
