Wales boss Mark Hughes has added four players to his original party for next week’s international against Argentina in Cardiff.

Andy Johnson (West Brom), Jason Koumas (Tranmere), Iwan Roberts (Norwich) and John Hartson (Celtic) have been called into the squad for Wednesday’s match.

Gareth Taylor (Burnley), Steve Jenkins (Huddersfield) and Tranmere pair Jason Price and Gareth Roberts have been put on stand-by.

Originally Hughes selected a party for a low-key training weekend before the late arrangement of the clash with the South Americans.

Cardiff youngsters Danny Gabbidon and Robert Earnshaw will leave the party to play for their club next Tuesday at Brentford, before returning the following day.
