Two men have been died in a housefire in Co Clare.

Two men have been died in a housefire in Co Clare.

The blaze broke out at the property in Boston near Tubber after 7am today.

The bodies of the men - one in his mid 30s and one in his mid 60s - were recovered from the property.

Emergency service personnel from Ennis in Clare and Gort, Co Galway remain at the scene.

It follows a major blaze in Dublin last night in which three firefighters were injured. That blaze affected a number of business units on the lower Kilmacud Road.

The injured firemen have since been released from hospital after treatment for first- and second-degree burns.
