Heather Mills has offered her support to shamed actor Alec Baldwin insisting it's not for her to judge if the film star is a good father or not.
Baldwin has been blasted for launching an answer machine attack at his 11-year-old daughter Ireland, in which he called her "a rude, thoughtless little pig", but Mills understands why the actor raged on the phone.
The angry message hit the internet last week when it was leaked to TMZ.com.
Speaking on Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest's radio show, Mills said: "You've got a man who's madly in love with his daughter who lives on the other side of the coast (America), who doesn't get to see her very much.
"I'm only guessing, from what I hear, that she's decided… that she wants to be with her friends, she wants to go out; she doesn't want to go and see him… I know a lot of fathers… who have spoken to their daughters like that and get upset.
"It's wrong to speak to your daughter like that… I would never talk to my daughter like that, but… his daughter lives with Kim (Basinger) and we have no idea what goes (on) behind closed doors.
"Maybe she just didn't want to see him… maybe she's let him down… People lose it, forgive him. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house; we are not here to judge and criticise what other people do."
