Some locals in the Irish village where Paul McCartney is getting married say he is snubbing local resources.
A giant marquee and dance floor stand ready for the event - on the banks of the lake outside Castle Leslie in Glaslough.
Sir Paul, 59 and Heather Mills, 34, arrived at the 17th-century estate last night by helicopter.
But some local residents say the couple have not used local resources available to them such as florists and catering staff.
They claim the castle's usual staff have even been dismissed for the event as a crew of outsiders is brought in.
Florist Aileen Scott is angry that flowers, including lilies and roses, had been specially shipped in from Holland.
She said: "They are sourcing nothing at all at local level. Even the castle staff have been sent away so that they can bring in outsiders."
A spokesman for Monaghan Chamber of Commerce said: "We would like the goods to come from local suppliers. The castle is a significant part of the local economy."
The former Beatle and his fiancee are to appear at the gates of the estate to meet local people later.
