A motorcyclist has been killed in a road accident in County Cork.

A motorcyclist has been killed in a road accident in County Cork.

It happened when a he struck a ditch on the Bandon side of Dunmanway, on the main Cork to Bantry Road, at about 4.30pm.

The victim has not yet been identified, and Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
