Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an assault on one of Dublin's main shopping streets last month.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an assault on one of Dublin's main shopping streets last month.

A man in his mid 20s suffered serious head injuries when he was attacked on Grafton Street near the junction of Harry St at around 3am on Sunday, May 29.

The man responsible for the attack had been walking from the St Stephen's Green direction along with another man and a woman.

Gardaí at Dublin's Pearse Street station are anxious to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault.
