The funeral of the Tipperary boy who died on the weekend following a reported assault in Clonmel is to take place tomorrow.

The funeral of the Tipperary boy who died on the weekend following a reported assault in Clonmel is to take place tomorrow.

The 14-year-old boy died in Cork Regional hospital on the weekend.

According to Assistant State Pathologist Marie Cassidy, Brian Rossiter's death was the result of head injuries.

Officers in Clonmel are continuing their investigations into the assault that occurred on Sunday last.
