Man arrested after drugs raids in Letterkenny

A man in his 40s has been arrested following a number of planned raids in Letterkenny, Co Donegal this morning.

A man in his 40s has been arrested following a number of planned raids in Letterkenny, Co Donegal this morning.

The investigation into drug dealing in the county involved Gardaí and officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau.

Cash worth €200,000, including some sterling, was recovered along with a number of documents which are now being examined.

The man is being held at Letterkenny Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
