Samuel Eto’o has been named in the Barcelona squad for tomorrow’s Primera Liga match with Osasuna, his first call-up since suffering a serious knee injury last year.
The Cameroon striker has been absent for four months after tearing the meniscus in his right knee during September’s Champions League match with Werder Bremen.
Eto’o, who is now in line to feature in the last-16 Champions League clash with Liverpool, had to undergo an operation on the injury and he only returned to squad training on Thursday after completing his rehabilitation.
But while Eto’o returns to the fold, Barca coach Frank Rijkaard will be without Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho because of injury.
